In Cape Town I get the chance to work with 13 - 14 years old scholars. Brenda the teacher is grat exception of the teacher. She works interactive with the girls and boys. This is not normal in South Africa. I asked them what they want to play in front of the camera. Of course they choose ACTION. So i gave them the subject between girl and boys. Immediately they create a fight because of the boy- or girl-friend kissed another boy or girl.
They keep the camera and I give them support. Only 3-4 hours they had time for creating and rehearsal their idea. I decided to record all of the teams.
After that you see 8 seconds edited version, where I explain them the Editing. it was a lovely work.

It happen to me as a German. I stand up and missed the firest date with the Hip Hop Dance Crews. I searched for Internet USB stick and that was a horrible taks. When I arrived by the boys, it become dark. Now way to shoot anything. I forgot that it was winter time in Cape Town. The dawn start around 5 pm.
We agree to meet us on the next sunday. Than I had to wait one hour, but it was just in time for South Africa.

Here I urned the name SLAVE DRIVER, special from the woman who lived in Germany. Because we shoot until it was dawn and the light went. If you look on the sky, you will recognize it.
The boys loved the work and the repeat theire choreography againa and again. Of course as beginners for a video shooting, they changed the positions. And I had to fight by editing.
At least we enjoyed all. And if you could see the eyes of the boys and the father, who wants to sell immediately the video clip. I am proud of the nickname SLAVE DRIVER.
We shoot sunday 12 am to 6 pm. Than I edited until 12 pm. On the next day I edited again from 9 am to 7 pm. Enjoy the video clip.

And I loved to work Luke, the stuntman. He has such a good glamour and presence in front of the camera.
